As part of the privilege of having the driving simulator in Douglas, is that the simulator be offered to the public for use in improving their driving techniques.
The driving simulator will be available to the public during March 15-21 between the hours of 5-8 p.m.
Unfortunately, the number of slots available to the public are limited to three persons per day.
Interested persons should complete the required forms at Douglas Police Department by Friday March 12.
The Douglas Police Department is looking forward to sharing this equipment, which is typically used for public safety training, with the general public. This experience will give the general public insight as to how their local public safety personnel train, while providing an opportunity to improve their own driving techniques.
