DOUGLAS                                                                

Warrant Arrest: On 03-07-2010 at 0345 hrs, Vincent Leroy Smith was arrested on N. Violet Ave, 3200 Blk, Douglas, for (2) valid Misdemeanor warrants.  

DUI: On 03-07-2010 at 0441, Colin James Myers-Powell was driving a white 1992 Buick 4DSD on the eastbound shoulder of Hwy 80, MM 348, Bisbee, AZ under the influence of intoxicating beverage.  The vehicle was impounded for 30 days.

Warrant Arrest: On 03-08-2010 Ricardo Velez Casarrubias, an undocumented alien, was arrested at the United States Border Patrol Station,  Douglas, Az  for a valid warrant out of Maricopa  County Superior.  He was transported and booked into Cochise County Detention

ELFRIDA                                                               

Traffic Offense:  On 030710 at 1723 hours, Deputies observed a vehicle traveling on Highway 191 milepost 44 at 82 mph.  A traffic stop was made on Marcos Antonio Barallardos and it was discovered he also had a warrant.  Barallardos was taken into custody without incident. 

Drugs:  On 030710 at 1010 hours, Joseph Moreno and Jose Barbosa were cited and released for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after marijuana was located by US Border Patrol in their vehicle at the 191/Kansas Settlement Checkpoint.  

Traffic:  On 030510 at 1417, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at milepost 12.  The vehicle was traveling at 90 mph in a 65.  The driver, Daniel Chang was cited and released. 

March 9

DOUGLAS                                                                  

Wanted Person: On 03/09/10 at approximately 1726 hrs, Thomas Lawson was arrested at his residence on N. Washington Ave. in Douglas, for a felony warrant out of the AZ Dept. of Corrections.

Wanted Person: On 03-09-10 Victor Toribio, an illegal immigrant, was arrested as a Fugitive from Justice on an outstanding warrant from the state of California. This took place at the United States Border Patrol station in Douglas.
