Double Adobe Quilt Show on March 6

The Quilters have pieced a Butterfly Quilt to raffle off at the show. It has been hand quilted. Tickets will be available at the door and the winning ticket will be drawn at 4:00 p.m.
Live music will start at 9:00 a.m. with Trail Mix & Wilferd Kennedy. At 12:30 p.m. Johnny Bencommo, and at 2:00 p.m. The Simmons Family Band. The show will be held at the Old Double Adobe School at 7081 N. Central Hwy and Double Adobe Road in McNeal. Hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Admission is free and children are always welcome. Anyone wanting to show quilts or for more information call 364-5090, 364-5109, or 642-1720.
Dining For Change benefits cancer charities
Tesoro Beauty Boutique, which has salons in Douglas and Bisbee, will host a “Dining For Change” event to improve the quality of life for those impacted by breast cancer, domestic abuse and natural disasters.
The event takes place at Santiago’s Restaurant , located at 1 Howell Avenue in Bisbee. It starts at 6 p.m. on March 8. Guests have the opportunity to win door prizes, including a one-night stay at the San Ramon Inn.

Comedy hypnosis show to raise funds
On February 27, the Douglas High School Starfish Club will play host to a Comedy Hypnosis Show starring Master Hypnotist Michael DeSchalit.
The show is a fundraiser for the Douglas HS Starfish Club. This event is going to fund charity work and help to support the many different projects that the Starfish Club does throughout the year.
Showtime is Saturday at 7:00pm at Douglas High School in the Auditoriu.

Advance purchase tickets are $8.00 for All Seats. Tickets will also be available at the door the evening of the show and are $10.00 for All Seats, but because there will only be one performance, tickets will be subject to availability.
