Edna Hiler Orci passed away Feb. 14, 2010, at the age of 96. She was born in Nacozari, Sonora, Mexico, Sept. 13, 1913. Edna was loved by all, especially her family and was a benefactor to the poor and underprivileged throughout her life.


Edna was preceded in death by her husband, of 58 years, Agustin Orci Pesquiera; daughters, Edna Lucia Orci; parents, Robert Lee Hiler and Josefa Gabilondo Hiler; brothers, Roberto, Bernard and Edgar Hiler; and sisters, Josephine and Elizabeth Hiler. Edna is survived by her sons, Agustin (Louise) Orci of Las Vegas, and Bernardo (Gabriela) Orci of Tijuana, Mexico; daughters, Patricia (Alfonso) Ruiz and Virginia Orci, both of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A memorial Mass will be held at Parroquia Santa Maria Estrella del Mar in Playas de Tijuana, Mexico.
