Mr. Emilio A. Dorame went to be with our Lord on March 15, 2010 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. 


Emilio was born on May 9, 1967 in Agua Prieta, Sonora to Joaquin and Loreto Dorame of Douglas. 

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Guadalupe Dorame.  His Children, Lupita Dorame (Juan Smith), Claudia Dorame (Rolando Valencia), Maria Isabel Dorame (Timothy Agcaoili), Esmeralda Dorame and his son Emilio Dorame, Jr.  He is also survived by his sisters, Ramona (Noe) Ramirez of Douglas, Arizona, Carmen Dorame of Tucson, Arizona, Blanca (Cesar) Cruz of Douglas, Arizona, Isabel (Francisco Cruz) Dorame and Veronica Dorame both of Douglas.   He also leaves his 3 grandchildren, Rolando Valencia, Jr., Juanito Smith and Damien Agcaoili along with numerous nieces, nephews and uncles. 

Emilio enjoyed working in the fields and loved listening to music and watching Mexican movies.  He especially loved his mom’s flour tortillas and tamales.  He is greatly loved and will be greatly missed by his loved ones. 

A Rosary for Emilio will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2010 at the Brown Page Mortuary Chapel.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Armando Espinoza officiating.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers who will serve are Emilio Dorame, Jr., Noe Ramirez, Jesus Dorame, Ramon Ramirez, Juan Smith and Joaquin Dorame.  Honorary Pallbearers are Emilio Dorame, Jr., Juan Smith, Ramon Ramirez, Joaquin Dorame, Alexandro Dorame and Cesar Cruz.
