" Thank you Mrs. Bonnie Lopez for all you did for DHS.You made DHS a place to be proud of in many ways. You helped the DHS Band get new instruments, and you supported us in so many ways. You were a great principal and made sure we had good teachers and even though we knew when you were strict we the students understood you wanted the best for us. We will miss you so much, but I just want to say thank you because you helped me when I felt so bad my parents were getting a divorce and you took the time to tell me to do my best because I had to get ready for my life. I will never forget that. And I am doing much better now.

" They should have waited for Sheila Rogers to have some input on who should be Assistant Superintendent. Rogers may have thought someone else was a better candidate. "

" Hoyack, Rivera, and Lopez should step down and maybe we would get some good candidates. It really is a good job in a great community but they see the boards behavior and the treatment of the last super and think this could be a career ender. Two of the last three superintendents left with lawyers on retainer. "

" Why did the board do this with out waiting to hire a superintendent first?

As usual, Hoyack is doing something backwards!! "

" Why doesn't the district hire someone with real Human Resources knowledge to be Assistant Superintendent? There are people out there that have experience and have Masters degrees in Human Resources. It has to do with treating workers with respect. There hasn't been anyone with those credentials since Martha Green. "
