Car Seats distributed throughout Cochise County

The AZ Governor's Office of Highway Safety has awarded 250 children's car seats to Cochise County for 2010 through an award made to Cochise Health Network. The seats will be distributed throughout the county, with 100 of the seats going to the Douglas and Willcox areas. The objective of this program is to increase the rate of car seat usage by distributing and safely installing car seats, and providing safety information to the public. In the Douglas area, car seats installations are provided by Douglas Fire Department [contact person - Jesse Munoz 520-727-0606]. Information will also be provided at the Douglas Care Fair 2010 that will be held September 11, 9am-1pm at the Douglas Farmer's Market at Castro Park.
