The Douglas Public Library book club will be meeting August 19 to discuss their latest book The Trunk Murderess: Winnie Ruth Judd by Jana Bommersbach.

The book is the winning selection from Onebookaz 2010. The book club meets the third Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. at the library.

The Douglas library provides a copy of the selected book to each member for free or members can purchase their own copy. Membership is free and is for any age.

The book club chooses a book each month at the end of their meetings, once they finish discussing the previous book. The library also will continue hosting pre-school story every Thursday at 10:15 at the library.

Starting this fall regular teen events will be scheduled, a new computer lab that was purchased with a grant will be installed along with hosting different computer classes in the new lab and visits from different authors.
