“My job is to be your Congresswoman. To fight for you; to be your voice; to advocate for you and for your family and I take my job seriously.”

"It is important, since America pays billions of dollars to import oil and other types of energy from other countries, mostly hostile to the United States.

“America’s energy needs to be made in America. And clean, renewable energy makes all the best to the world, that’s why we need to be investing.”

Investing in public education is also a strong point in her campaign, she said education is the key for a better future and a strongest United States.

Finally, Giffords asked to the community members to “Stand with her” in her race to make America a better and safer place with higher level of education, renewable energy, more health care benefits and making progress no matter the ideology.

She later said that the border is and will continhue to be an important issue for her. Part of the most recent Border allocation is just for moree Border Patrol agents but more money to inevstigate and presecute those from other countries that break outr laws.

She also stated that more technology has be made available in the area, not only to catch illegal entrants but to catch and prosecute drug and human smugglers.

" Gabby does not care about our opinions or she would not have voted for Obamacare.

Jesse is not in favor of eliminating Social Secutity.

I think these comments are mostly written by Gabby's staff.

Gabby will tax hard working Americans and then spend our money to buy votes. "

" I cannot believe the ugly commercials Kelly is putting out on Giffords. Goes to show you he's an airhead that represents people with crazy views! My God I was there when he said "Social Security should be privatized" no way can we allow him to do that! He lacks experience and jumped on the bandwagon of scare tactics after the Krentz shooting. He's an opportunist. Giffords knows Douglas and cares. She met with our high school students in DC and has always supported our kids. She is a class act. We don't want a representative in congress that we will be ashamed of. We need Giffords to protect Social Security! "

" I am very worried that Jesse Kelly is in favor of eliminating Social Security. Those ideas about having that money go to funding retirement programs from Wall Street are what made our economy go bad. They are a bunch of crooks. People have even had their 401K plans stolen by greedy corporations.
Lets not mess around with Social Security. For most of us who have worked hard all of our lives, that is the only thing we have to live on in our golden years. I am for re-electing Congresswoman Gabriele Giffords. She looks out for us Senior Citizens. "

" I think Giffords should be re-elected because she studies the issues very carefully and then votes for what is best for Cochise County and for all the people of our district. She knows what is going on in Washington D.C. and she can cut through the lies and distortions. She has become a very influential member of Congress. "

" I think we are very lucky to have a person of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords' caliber to represent us in the U.S. House of Representatives. She knows our district well and you can tell she is determined to dedicate all her energy to improve our economy, our public education system and our security. She deserves our vote. "
