Arizona Farming & Ranching Hall of Fame seeks for 2011 nominations

The deadline for nominations for the Arizona Farming & Ranching Hall of Fame is quickly approaching. Form must be received no later than October 1, 2010.


Each year Arizona’s Farm & Ranch Experience Heritage Center at Lakin Farm recognizes seven Honorees, five living and two posthumous, to be inducted into the Arizona Farming & Ranching Hall of Fame. Inductees are selected for their contributions to the agricultural industry in Arizona in the fields of farming, ranching, Agri-business, education or science.

Honorees are chosen by a selection panel comprised of Arizonans with a diversity of backgrounds so nomination forms should include as much information about the nominee as possible.

Nomination forms are available on the Arizona’s Farm & Ranch Experience Heritage Center at Lakin Farm website www.heritageatlakinfarm.org or by contacting Carole DeCosmo at codeco2@aol.com or (623) 695-9614.

Induction of honorees will take place at the 4th Annual Honoree Dinner on March 5, 2011.

Nomination forms and accompanying information/pictures may be sent to Arizona’s Farm & Ranch Experience, Heritage Center at Lakin Farm at 289 N. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, Arizona 85338. Forms must be received no later than October 1, 2010.
