Our beloved mother and grandmother, Alice Owens, has been taken from us to be in a better place with our Lord. She passed away on August 26, 2010 in Tucson, Arizona.


Alice enjoyed good food and socializing with her family and we will miss her very much.

She is survived by her sons David Gonzales (Rosie) Tucson; Ken Owens (Pam) Chandler; grandson’s Gregg, Geoff and Gary Gonzales, Tucson; Grandaughter’s Desiree and Shannon Gonzales, Tucson; Alyssia Owens, Chandler; and Laura Moder, Oxnard, CA. Great grandson, Daniel Isaiah Gonzales Smith. Brother, Daniel Ortega (Georgina) Douglas, sisters Margaret Chumbler (Wilson) and Sylvia Skaggs (Robert) Tucson and Connie Laurent of Silver City, NM.

There will be a Memorial service for Alice, Saturday, September 11, 2010, 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church, 928 C Avenue, Douglas, Arizona 85607.
