DARC (Douglas Association for Retarded Citizens) celebrates

at BorderMart, located at the corner of 3rd Street and Pan
American Avenue.
More than $70,000 has been raised for DARC through the
carne asada fundraiser over the years. This year, DARC is
hoping to sell 1,500 plates for earn enough for matching
funds for a van equipped with a wheelchair lift.
The DARC Carne Asada will be held that Friday, from
10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. The cost is $7 per plate, which includes
carne asada steak, macaroni salad, beans, tortilla, jalapeno,
said, chips and dessert.
DARC is still looking for cooks and servers. Those interested
need to be at BorderMart on that Friday at 8 a.m. Tickets
are now on sale for the popular fundraiser.. For tickets ,
