Tanori has been working
with the Douglas Dispatch
since August of 2010 and has
loved informing the community
about the things that
happen around our town.
She grew up in Douglas
and graduated from DHS.
She received a scholarship
from the Hispanic Alumni to
go the University of Arizona
in Tucson. She graduated
with a bachelor’s degree in
Public Administration and a
minor in Spanish.
Tanori married her highschool
sweetheart, Alex, in
Tucson in 2003. Together
they have two beautiful children,
Vianee; 9, and Alex Jr.;

“I love my little town of
Douglas and love writing
stories about what happens
here. My favorite things to
do are interview people
about different issues and
listen to their ideas on how to
better our newspaper.”
Tanori is open to talk to the
