FRANCISCO BARRIOS/DOUGLAS DISPATCH Cochise College Bi-National Chorus performed two peace songs in the Mexican side of the Border, in Naco, Sonora, while Seth Polley Reverend for St. Stephens Episcopal Church lead those who attended to the Justice Fair in a moment of praying for all the victims who died trying to cross to the United States as well as to change the way Arizona legislation is being made. “I’d like to suggest to you all, that the Wall among us in our hearts is the one we need to break right now. There’s a saying “Love the sinner, hate the sin; I say to you “Love the Legislator, hate the legislation.”

public and media about the

urgent need of find non-violent

ways based on civil discourse

to solve national issues

such as border violence,

Arizona’s Legislation, policies

crisis and more.

In a press release, PDAnational

director Tim Carpenter

said, “PDA is returning to

our roots in Arizona to draw

attention to the policies that

further exacerbate the economic

crisis for average

Americans like ever-increasing

war spending, unaffordable

healthcare, and

deficit reduction instead of

economic expansion that

creates jobs in a green economy.”

Carpenter went on to say,

“Arizona’s harsh and immoral

treatment of undocumented

workers will not

solve our economic woes;

corporate power and the military-

industrial complex are

the real enemies of prosperity

for the middle-class and

the poor.”
