A Cochise County Superior Court judge on Monday reduced the bond for a man who allegedly shot a 19-year-old man near Douglas on Nov. 13.

He was being held on $200,000 bond, but Judge James Conlogue agreed to reduce it after the defense filed a motion to modify conditions of release. He is now held on $100,000 bond. Nelson is scheduled for a five-day jury trial starting on July 11 in Division 5 court.
