Having back problems? Feeling pain in the neck? Maybe the solution is making an appointment with the new Copper Queen Therapist Cindy Kamphaus and Licensed Massage Therapist Holly Sanders.

Kamphaus and Sanders joined the Copper Queen Medical Associates staff in Douglas on December 13 to cover the physical therapy area. “Holly and I have been working together for seven years now and we came on the same day and they hired us at the same time, which is very nice, because we were looking to keep working together.”

Graduated from the University of Kansas 40 years ago and with over 32 years of experience in private practice, Physical Therapist Kamphaus works with all ages groups and any type of body problem in Douglas, such as necks, back, knees, hips, and others. “We really like the people of Douglas; everybody is been super nice; the staff here at the clinic has been great with us.”

On these days, Kamphaus and Sanders assist an average of 13 people a day and they have over 20 people in the waiting list due to the need of Douglas people in receiving this type of physical therapy.

Having special equipment to treat joints, back or neck problems helps in a great manner. And when Kamphaus and Sanders were hired at Copper Queen they were able to bring professional equipment to treat in the best possible way the patients and help them deal with these physical issues. “Mostly I recognize in the patients more like chiropractic treatment; we’re putting the joint and the spine back in right position and I use a special table in order to do it.”

Cindy Kamphaus and Holly Sanders work five days a week, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and in order to receive a physical treatment patients must count with and order from its doctor. To receive more information about the service people can contact the Copper Queen Medical Associates office at (520) 364-7659 or call the Rehab Services at the Bisbee Hospital at (520) 432-6435.
