Two people injured was the result of a collision between a white Dodge Ram 1500 and a white Dodge Stratus at the intersection of Chino Road and U.S. 80 Highway on Thursday, March 10, at approximately at 11:00 a.m.

According to the Department of Public Safety, an eye witness said that the owner of the Ram 1500, which last name is Collier was traveling North on Chino Road and he looked to his right side but he didn’t look back to left and he didn’t see the Stratus driven by a Bernal and as a consequence the Stratus was not able to stop and hit the truck in the driver side.

Both drivers had superficial injuries and they were sent to Southeast Arizona Medical Center. The accident is still under investigation.

" This is news as it had created a curiosity factor. The patient isn't even recognizable in the picture. Why would permission need to be granted? This isn't a well written story, but it is a good story with appropriate pictures. "

" who's reporting on this stuff, you guys are terrible. I think people in douglas knew about this and moving on to other things before the dispatch came along and reported nothing. I'll bet everyone in douglas even knew the names and were already taking tamales, sopa de pollo and other goodies to the injured people before the dispatch even knew. "

" That is poor journalism. Showing pictures of injured patients in the newspaper. You probably didn't have authorization from the victim. Is this Mexico? "
