Free spring break activities next week

Published/Last Modified on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 11:05 AM MST

The week of Monday, March 14, is spring break for Douglas students.

The Douglas Public Library will be offering activities every day from March 14 to 18. Children 12 and under are welcome to join us in playing the Wii, watching movies, and making crafts.

Children’s activities will be held Monday-Thursday at 3 pm and on Friday at 2 pm.

Those between the ages of 13 and 18 have the chance to participate in Teen Tech Week. Throughout the week of spring break, teens will have the opportunity to play the XBOX and Wii, watch a movie, learn photography tips, experiment with Windows Movie Maker, and find out how to learn a new language for free.

Teen activities will be from 7-9 pm Monday-Thursday and 5-7 pm on Friday (snacks will also be provided during a few of the teen nights).

For more information on the spring break activities or any other after school activities, contact the Douglas Public Library at (520)417-7357.
