Each year the Arizona Farming and Ranching Hall of Fame selects seven Honorees, five living and two posthumously. Inductees are selected for their contributions to the agricultural industry in Arizona in the fields of farming, ranching, Agri-business, education and science. Since the first honorees were selected in 2008 nominations have come in from across the State with honorees representing most of the agricultural areas from the Navajo Reservation to Douglas and from the White Mountains to Parker.
Honorees are chosen by an unbiased selection panel comprised of Arizonans with a diversity of backgrounds.
Nomination forms are available on the Arizona’s Farm & Ranch Experience, Heritage Center at Lakin Farm website, www.heritageatlakinfarm.org, or request a form by e-mailing carole@azfarmandranchexperience.com or calling (623) 695-9614.
