Comprised of fifteen staff members, including meat cutters, stockers, and cashiers, Mi Ranchito is well staffed for a small business. Margie and Tommy are always on-site as well to assist in any way they can, be it customer service or to greet their customers. One of the most noticeable qualities that the store has to offer is the great customer service that they offer.
Not only do the meat cutters offer to cut your meat in any way you want, but they also offer to take your groceries to your car. The meat is also marinated for free for those that want it that way. Another plus is that most of the workers at Mi Ranchito are bilingual for those Spanish only speaking customers.
Margie stated, “We are definitely happy and pleased that we were chosen for such an award.” The Zamoras have been sponsors for many years of the little leagues such as the Termites and cheerleaders.
Not too long ago, Mi Ranchito donated meat for the House of Hope’s Progressive Dinner, which Tommy Zamora was also there to volunteer his time to help serve the food. He said, “We are lucky to have such a great community that chose us for this award. I am happy to offer the town of Douglas all that we have here in the store and we will continue to serve the community in the best way that we can.”
The Zamoras mentioned that they are blessed to have such a successful store where almost every weekend and every holiday it is extremely busy for them. The store is open from 8 a.m.- 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8-7 p.m. on Sunday. For more information you can call Mi Ranchito at 364-8432.
