Zennia, it is in your best interest to gget a board to oversee your agenda. We need to make some changes. Maybe we should let little league run the show next year. "

" When you go to the draft, and you have protected your shortstop, your catcher, your 3rd Baseman, and a pitcher. How in the world can you say that is fair? And then they hand you a player from another tournament team during the season, and put her on the first place team just cuz she is related to the league director. Thats B.S. People are not bashing the 10 year old girl or her talent. People just want the teams to be equal. Your daughter is a good player, but if she has no one to throw to from short, or a catcher to catch for her or a defense behind her when she pitches. She will look just like any other player out there. Most players parents have to work and dont have the money and time to send their daughters to camps and on tournament teams to develop them like you. Oh and you're right...no one care that the Grissy's won 3 years in a row. Thats what happens when you stack a team. Always, SOFTBALL MOM "

" Zennia, make it like Little League. No protected players!! Just because you get a sponsor, shouldnt give you a right to protect 4 players. Believe it or not, 4 talented players on a team make a big difference. If the Coach has his daughter playing, he or she needs to draft her in the 3rd round. Eliminate all the politics. If he wants the asst coaches daughter on the team. Draft her. If someone else gets her, then trade for her. This is why little league is a lot more even. Any coach can win with a stacked team. Let see if they stick around when he has to develop them. "

" Someone really needs to audit the books. Where did all the money go to? There was never new equipment purchased or at least I didn't see any how much money was in the account at the beginning and how much is in there now? Does she have items, or receipts to prove and show what she has purchased? I would REALLY like to see them. My daughter was on a team where the catchers gear was broken and when the coach went to show Zenia the gear she stated, "the gear is still in working condition, and they didn't need to purchase another one" not caring that the child may have gotten hurt. Her loyalty to the league is an embarrassment when someone had a concern or question she would get on the defensive side WHY? She NEVER had an answer to your question. Many people stopped asking her. Zenia is a pathological liar she would tell you what she thought you wanted to hear not what was really going on, she placed favoritism on players and parents making it hard for those parents who had concerns on their children. I think it’s time for Zenia to step down as she has done enough damage to this league as she has stated several times she going to step down. STEP DOWN ZENIA DO THE COMMUNITY A FAVOR!!!!! Provide the city with the books and all your expense receipts. I'm going to question it with the city manager. I hope you have enough proof, because I know you don't. "

" It was embarassing to see how the first place teams were stacked..no pairity. It is not fair that the coaches can save certain star players. Every kid should be in the draft and they fall where they fall. Now we will see how good these coaches are. I do believe that if a dad is the head coach they should keep their daughter. But not the assistant coach's daughter. Zenia, please make it fair next year. Let all the kids be in the draft. "

" It's funny how so many people sit around and pass judgement on people only trying to do good for a community. Learn the facts before you post comments, this League does not use ASA rules because we are not ASA associated, we use High School rules because ultimately thats where we'd like to see players play. We do have restrictions, but they are in place for safety. The league allows anyone who wishes to play to play, who are we to tell someone "sorry but you are too good to play for this league"? Furthermore, every coach has an opportunity to pick each girl you see out there playing, that he/she chooses not to and instead picks the children they know is not the league's fault. You pass judgement on Coaches because they are good at what they do, and critize the ones who are just learning, but if they weren't out there then who would be? More often than not we are begging people to coach just to fill the need. So the next time you want to complain about how the league is run and who should run it, get off your couch, come out to the softball field there's always someone who'd love your help or maybe, just maybe you'll learn that it takes more than buying your child a glove and cleats to make them a great player. "

" Instead of crying, complaining and pointing fingers if you are not happy with what is going on with the city softball league then step up and take over it. Many people can talk and complain but noone will step up and take over. I give credit to Zinnea for putting up with all the "BEEP BEEP" from everyone. Instead of bashing her everyone who made bad comments about her should be greatful that she is taking the league because if she didn't then the girls would not have a league to play in. Remember, everyone was drafted. Coaches all had a chance to see the names of the players and they all had their turn to pick. "

" If you guys no anything..is that all teams are drafted same night....no special treatment is given to any coach...I don't understand why everyone is so concerned about one 10yr girl who loves the game and if anyone knows her knows she practices everyday to be good...the community should support her cuz won day she will play for douglas hs team....no one cares about Grissy who is won 3 yrs in a row...leave the kids alone and let them play ball! " The DGASA states that they follow ASA rules with only certain conditions. Those conditions do nothing but benefit their stacked teams so unfairly chosen due to "protecting" players from the draft! Zenia and the rest of the DGASA officials DO NOT know how to run a FAIR league! Hoping someone else who is FAIR runs the league for next year. "

" Zenia Morales has no business running the league if she is going to favor her own daughter and stack a team unfairly for the benefit of her own daughter's fame!!! Protecting players to stack teams is unfair and is definitely unsportsmanlike. Her daughter is in fact an excellent pitcher but to stack a team for her is ridiculous. Zenia should not run a league when she is going to make unfair decisions to benefit her own daughter!!! "

" Let's hope next year we don't have traveling teams playing on the league. I think that was very unfair to the rest of the girls and shouldn't be done. We need to be fair and give ALL teams and players the same opportunities out on the field. It shouldn't only be about the coaches children. "
