November 21, 2011


Sergio Jesus Espinoza, 37, was arrested at the US Port of Entry on a warrant out of DPD for ftp on charges for dosl. Espinoza was released after posting bond.

Olegario Palacios, 21, was arrested at 1400 a avenue on a warrant out of CCSO for fta on original charges for felony flight. Palacios was transported to the Cochise County jail.

A 17 year old male juvenile was arrested at DHS (1500 15th St) for possession of a knife and unknown pills.

10 year old female juvenile, 11 year old female and a 7 year old male were arrested at Ortegas Shoes (836 N G Ave) for shoplifting. The 10 and 11 year olds were cited and released to mother and the third juvenile was not charged because he was only 7 years old.

An information report was taken at the US Port of Entry. A male subject was trying to take new merchandise without tags and a receipt to Mexico. The merchandise was secured at the Douglas Police Dept until subject can show proof of purchase.

November 22, 2011

Bernardo Estrada, 39, was arrested at 1100 A Avenue for dosl. Estrada was cited and released.

Juan Manuel Garcia, 26, was arrested at 1700 15th street on a warrant out of AZ DPS Phoenix for underage consumption. Garcia was transported to the Cochise County jail.

14 year old male juvenile was arrested at 1800 block of 5th street for dv/disorderly conduct and dv/criminal damage.

A burglary was reported at 800 block of 7th street.

Criminal damage to a camera pole was reported by U.S. Border Patrol at International Avenue and Dolores.

A stolen vehicle was recovered at the city parking lot located at 1st St & Customs avenue. (2006 ford f150 pick up).

November 23, 2011

Victor Lopez, 20, was arrested at the us port of entry on a warrant out of Pima County SO Tucson for possession of drug paraphernalia. Lopez was transported to the Cochise County Jail.

Criminal damage to hay stacks was reported at 2000 block of Saddle Gap Circle.

An agency assist report was taken at 800 block of Douglas Avenue. Arizona tile delivered tile from Tempe but once it was in Douglas they found out it was paid with a fraudulent credit card.

A report for found property was taken at 1200 block of 21st street. A clear plastic bag containing a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana was seized.

A theft of a package that was supposed to be delivered by UPS was reported at 600 block of 5th street.

An information report reference a vehicle that got hit with paintball was taken at 100 block of10th street.

A theft of documents from a vehicle was reported at the Chiricahua Community Health Center (1100 F Ave). Pending an arrest on this case.

November 24, 2011

Richard Robertson, 56, was arrested at the 600 block of G Avenue for disorderly conduct. Robertson was cited and released to seabhs crisis center employee.

Jose Alfredo Villa, 47, was arrested at the 200 block of 1st street for dosl. Villa was cited and released.

Cesar A. Salinas-Velazquez, 24, was arrested at the us port of entry on a warrant out of Yavapai Co So Prescott for contempt of court. Velazquez was transported to the Cochise County jail.

Paul M. Dinin, 31, was arrested at the US Port of Entry on a warrant out of Maricopa Co So Phoenix for dui. Dinn was transported to the Cochise County Jail.

Criminal damage/graffiti was reported at 23rd St & Kline Avenue.

Criminal damage to a vehicle was reported at 2100 block of 6th street. Two tires from of victim's vehicle were slashed.

A theft of a mountain bike was reported at 900 block of13th street.

November 25, 2011

Jesus Alejandro Rascon Lopez, 18, was arrested at 1905 8th street for an alcohol offense. Subject Rascon Lopez was cited and released.

Report of a hit and run accident was taken at 5th Street & A Ave.

Report of a criminal damage was taken at 199 W 5th Street.

Report of a theft was taken at 600 block of G Ave.

An information report was taken at 1500 block of 21st street.

November 26, 2011

Luis Mario Cordova, 21, was arrested at 500 11th street for an alcohol offense. Subject Cordova was cited and released.

Cory Jasmine Vega, 21, was arrested at 1100 G Ave for an alcohol offense. Subject Vega was cited and released.

Benito Cota Campillo, 48, was arrested at 199 W 5th street for shoplifting and a pending warrant out of Benson Police Dept. Subject Cota Campillo was transported to Cochise County Jail.

Sadrac Covarrubias, 20, was arrested for a pending warrant out of the Douglas Police Dept. Subject Covarrubias was transported to Cochise County Jail.

17 year old male juvenile was arrested at 199 W 5th street for shoplifting. Subject was released to the custody of his father.

Report of an accident was taken at 11th Street & A Avenue.

Report for criminal damage was taken at 1500 Washington Ave.

Report for false information was taken at 1200 block of 7th Street.

Report for information was taken at 500 block of Pan American Ave.

Information report was taken at 2300 block of 7th street.

November 27, 2011

Manuel Campas, 53, was arrested at 1st street & Pan American Ave for dosl. Campas was cited and released.

Richard Robertson, 56, was arrested at the Border Mart (301 Pan American Ave) for disorderly conduct and reckless burning. Robertson was transported to the Cochise County jail.

A report for criminal damage to a vehicle was taken at 1000 block of 5th street. The vehicle was shot with paint balls and it left dents.

An information report was taken at the US port of entry. A missing juvenile out of Phoenix PD was recovered and was later detained by the port of entry because she was a passenger of a narcotic loaded vehicle.

A criminal damage report was taken at 700 block of 17th street.

November 28, 2011

Jafet Ernesto Rios, 31, was arrested at the US port of entry on a warrant out of Kearny PD for contempt of court. Rios was transported to the Cochise County jail.

Mauricio Duarte, 21, was arrested at the us port of entry on a warrant out of the Douglas Police Dept for ftp on charges for shoplifting. Duarte was transported to the Cochise County jail.

A 17 year old male juvenile was arrested at 1300 block of 11th St for possession of marijuana. Juvenile was cited and released to mother.

November 29, 2011

Adolfo V. Garcia, 43, was arrested at 21st street & Tompkins Ave on a warrant out of CCSO for parole violation on charges for possession of drug paraphernalia. Garcia was transported to the Cochise County jail.

Faviola Angelica Careaga, 32, was arrested at 1347 F Avenue (pawn shop) on two warrants out of DPD for fta on charges for dosl and the second warrant is for ftp on charges for assault. Carreaga was also charged for robbery at the pawn shop. Carlos Arturo Noreiga, 36, was also arrested at the pawn shop for robbery and assault. Noriega and Careaga were transported to the Cochise county jail.

Todd Edward Prosise, 48, was arrested at the us port of entry on a warrant out of Maricopa CoSo Phnx for fta on charges for possession of dangerous drugs. Prosise posted bond and was released.

Criminal damage to grass was reported at the airport park. A motorcycle was driving reckless and caused damage to the grass.

A theft of a purse from a shopping basket was reported at Walmart.

A theft of money from an account was reported at 800 block of N. Douglas Avenue.

A theft and bank fraud was reported at 800 block of 13th street.

A traffic offense was reported at the 400 block of Chino Road.

A theft of items from a construction site was reported at 1300 International Avenue.

Criminal damage to an electrical power line was reported at Monroe Avenue and the border line.

November 30, 2011

Daniel J. Vithous, 41, was arrested at the US port of entry for possession of marijuana. Vithous was transported to the Cochise County jail.

A report for theft of beer was taken at the Express Stop (1050 10th St).

A theft of 12 plastic slats (2"x4"x6") was reported at the Airport Park.

An agency assist report was taken in the Douglas area.

A report for domestic violence was taken at 1300 block of 20th street.

A theft of a vehicle bumper was reported at 1301 Florida Ave apt# 108.

A vehicle loaded with drugs was reported at mm 347 hwy 80.

December 1, 2011

Isaac Pereida, 22, was arrested at the US port of entry on two warrants. First warrant was out of DPD for fta on charges for open container and the second warrant was out Dept of Corr Central Phnx for parole violation on charges for burglary. Pereida was transported to the Cochise County jail.

Sergio Batista Duarte, 24, was arrested at the US port of entry on a warrant out of DPD for ftp on charges for dv/disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana. Duarte was also in possession of a stolen vehicle out of Tucson PD (2006 Honda 4d). Batista was transported to the Cochise County Jail.

A female juvenile was arrested as a runaway juvenile at 730 F avenue (Circle K). She was cited and released to a juvenile probation officer.

A minor vehicle accident with no injuries was reported at the 1200 block of 14th St.

A custodial interference was reported at the US port of entry. Two children were removed from mother's custody and released to cps.

A vehicle was taken for safekeeping at 1100 f avenue. (1992 Mazda coupe red in color)

Criminal damage/graffiti was reported at the Red Cross building (1449 15th street).

A theft was reported at Douglas High School (1500 15th St)

Identity theft was reported at 300 block of 7th street. Unknown person (s) opened an account with direct tv under victim's name.

A vehicle was taken for safekeeping at the US port of entry. (2003 gold Tahoe)

Criminal damage/graffiti was reported at the 10th St park men’s restrooms.

Criminal damage/graffiti was reported at the Spear Park's men’s restrooms.

December 2, 2011

Robyn S. Manzzini, 42, was arrested at 900 block of 9th street for disorderly conduct. Subject Manzzini was transported to Cochise County jail.

Nidia Cruz, 31, was arrested at 800 San Antonio Ave for driving on a suspended license. Subject Cruz was cited and released.

Juan Antonio Mendoza Contreras, 38, was arrested at 1000 block of 4th street for dv/ disorderly, dv/criminal damage and a warrant out of Douglas Police Dept. Subject Mendoza Montreras was transported to Cochise County jail.

Jesus Sosa, 28, and Guadalupe Sosa Martinez, 50, where arrested at 2000 blk of 10th street for drag racing/ exhibition of speed. Both subjects were cited and released.

A non injury accident report was taken at west 3rd street.

Report for criminal damage was taken at 1900 Applewhite Dr.

Report for criminal damage was taken at Pan American Ave & 11th Street.

Report of a theft was taken at 199 5th street (Wal-Mart).

Report of a burglary was taken at 500 block of 5th street.

December 3, 2011

Daniel J. Novoa, 22, was arrested at 1600 Van Buren Ave for open container. Novoa was cited and released.

Francisco Javier Islava, 23, was arrested at the US port of entry on a warrant out of DPD for ftp 2nd offense on charges for fictitious plates. Islava was transported to the Cochise County jail.

Criminal damage/gun shot to a vehicle was reported at 2700 block of 6th street.

An informational report reference a vehicle fire was reported at 9th St & E Avenue.

December 4, 2011

Edgar Davila, 20, was arrested at 2100 block of E 7th St for minor consumption of alcohol. Davila was cited and released.

Jesus Pedrego was arrested at the 300 block of Pan American Ave for an alcohol violation. Pedrego was cited and released.

Jesse Lis, 31, was arrested at the 200 block of 16th St for driving on a suspended license. Lis was cited and released.

15 year old female, 16 year old male, 17 year old female, and a 15 year old male, were arrested at 2100 block of E 7th St for minor with spirituous liquor in body. All juveniles were cited and released to parents. 16 year old male, 15 year old male, and 16 year old female, were arrested for minor with spirituous liquor in body. Additionally, one of the juveniles was also cited for an open container violation. All juveniles were cited and released to responsible parties.

A report for found property was taken at 700 block of 15th St.

An information report was taken at 1900 block of 8th St.

Criminal damage/graffiti was reported at 1000 block of 16th St.

Criminal damage to a vehicle was reported at 700 block of 8th St.

Criminal damage was reported at 15th St park.

A vehicle was impounded at the Gadsden Hotel for displaying a license plate with a fictitious address.
