Mari Moore has gone to sing with the angels peacefully in her home on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Mari was born on February 13, 1976 in Tucson, Arizona. She had been a resident of Douglas her entire life. She was preceded in death by the late Mary Moore and Walter (Pebbles) Moore. Mari is survived by her children Alina and Adriennne Moore and Cheyenne and Elijah Vega of Douglas; her partner in life of 15 years, Frank C. Vega of New York; brothers John H. Moore, Martin Moore and Andy Moore of Douglas and Tucson; sisters Belen Moreno and Debra Ann Moore of Douglas; father Hector Salinas of Douglas and mother-in-law Maria Gomez of New York. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mari was a very free spirited and charismatic person who loved to make people smile and laugh. She was a caring mother to her children. She loved to sing and her voice would find its way into your heart. She loved cooking so much that she decided to become a sandwich artist at Subway. She loved her family gathering every year for the holidays. She will truly be missed but never forgotten.

For the family:
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Prayer of Solace
May Christ support us all the day long, till the shadows lengthen, and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over and our work is done. Then in his mercy may he give us a safe lodging, and holy rest and peace at the last.
Amen. "
