American Legion helps Food Bank

In a remarkable way to help the Douglas Area Food Bank, the American Legion Post 11 held a Food Drive outside of Food City on the morning of Saturday, January 14.

A total of 298 pounds of food and $60 were collected thanks to the donations from local people, informed Food Bank Co-Manager Roberto Brunet. He also said that one of the plans for replenish the Food bank by conducting these types of food drives at least every two months.
