Douglas’ tennis coach David Campas said this was a good start for his team.

“Anytime you No. 1 and 2 players lose and you can still win the match is good,” he said.

The coach credits his new assistant Jason Long for helping get this team ready to start the season.

“This was a good win,” Campas said.

The Bulldogs are back at home today taking on Nogales in a 3:30 p.m. match at the DHS tennis courts.
