Jan. 21


CCSO was advised that a 19-year-old female student at Cochise College in Douglas had fallen down a stairwell and was unconscious. The female was treated by Douglas medics and subsequently airlifted to UMC for treatment.

A Cochise resident advised that his home had been broken into when someone went through the front window and stole two air guns valued at $100 each.

Jan. 22

Dorothy Stephens was reported deceased at her home in Pearce. No foul play suspected.

Jan. 23

The manager of the Food Bank in Sunsites reported a burglary of the facility on E. Treasure Rd.

SEAMC personnel reported a 52 year old woman assaulted two employees by kicking one in the leg and kneeing another in the ribs.

Jan. 24

A man was arrested on N. Violet Ave. in Douglas after he repeatedly punched his girlfriend and then punched the porch light of the residence.

Bobbie Tollison, 81, was found deceased in his home in Portal. No foul play is suspected.

Jan. 27

A Douglas man, 42, was charged with possession of marijuana for sale and transportation of marijuana for sale.

An Agua Prieta, MX man, 30, was charged with possession/use of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale and transportation of marijuana for sale.

A Douglas man, 35, was charged with possession of marijuana for sale and transportation of marijuana for sale.

Two Douglas women, 19 and 18, were charged with underage drinking. They were released.

Jan. 28

Two 20 year old men were arrested on Highway 191 in McNeal when the vehicle one was driving was stopped. Inside the vehicle were two bundles of marijuana totally 44.7 pounds. The vehicle was impounded.

Jan. 30

A 43-year-old man was cited for driving on 13th Street in Douglas without a driver’s license. His vehicle was impounded.

A Douglas man, 18, was charged with possession of drugs at or near schools, possession/use of marijuana and possess/make/manufacture deliver drug paraphernalia.

Jan. 31

A man was arrested for speeds in excess of 90 mph on Highway 191 in Elfrida.

Feb. 1

A Douglas man, 23, was charged with possession/use of dangerous drugs and recklessly handling/discharging a weapon.

A Douglas man, 19, was charged with violation of promise to appear.

A Douglas man, 23, was charged with interfering with a judicial proceeding and failure to pay fine.

A Pirtleville man, 44, was charged with fighting/disruptive behavior.

A Douglas man, 47, was charged with fighting/disruptive behavior and failure to pay fine.

Feb. 2

A Douglas man, 23, was charged with interfering with a judicial proceeding and failure to pay fine.

A Douglas woman, 37, was charged with harassing or threatening conduct, harassing — written/electronic means and judicial proceeding — disobey mandate.
