For months many local residents have expressed their concerns about what is going on with the Douglas City Council.

Next Tuesday is the Primary Election in Douglas. Polls open at 6 A.M. and close at 7 P.M.

Now is the time to act. Get out and vote for the candidate of your choice and let your feelings be heard through the electoral process.

Put those comments to use by voting for the candidate of your choice.

In the Mayors race we have Danny Ortega running against Danny “DJ” Morales while in Ward 3 Lynn Kartchner is challenging incumbent Ben LaForge.

In Ward 5 Lourdes Estrada is facing Luis Greer for a seat that will be vacated by Ivan Huish whose term is up.

Margaret Morales is unopposed is Ward 1.

Last Tuesday there was a Public Forum held at City Hall where all seven candidates answered questions from the audience. Hopefully their answers cleared up as to who the best person is for the seats that are open.

The Dispatch also asked each of the candidates’ a series of questions. The questions and their answers are printed in this issue. Take time and look them over.

The poling places are also included in this issue.

Take advantage of your right to vote and get out and select the candidate of your choice.

Let your voice be heard.
