Rec Center to offer Spring-Break Camp

The City of Douglas Recreation Center will host its 2012 Spring-Break Camp from March 12-16.

All kids from 5-12 years old are welcome to join the fun that the Rec Center has prepared with activities such as arts and crafts, movies, fun activities with prizes and outdoor group activities every day from 8-2 p.m.

Rec’s staff is asking to interested kids to bring their own breakfast and lunch and the fee for the camp is $15.

Also, the City of Douglas Aquatic Center has informed that it will extend its business hours during the Spring-Break week and it will be open from 5-8 a.m. and from 12-7 p.m.

Besides extended hours the Aquatic Center has a special offer to make: bring a buddy or two for $.50 cents off admission during Spring-Break week.

The pool fees are: Child 0-5 yrs $1.00; Youth 6 -17 yrs $1.50; Adult 18-61 yrs $2.00; Senior 62 and older $1.50 Racquetball courts entrance is $2.00
