Virginia Troglia Manley
December 10, 1932-February 24, 2012

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.

Virginia passed away Friday, February 24, 2012, at the Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center. She was born December 10, 1932 to Martin Paul and Rafaela Troglia in Gleeson, AZ. She graduated from Valley Union High School in 1951 where she was active in clubs, sports and was a cheerleader. During her years of employment, she worked for J C Penney, Fidelity Savings & Loan and the Arizona Bank which became the Bank of America where she retired after 35 years of service. Virginia was a member of the First Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school classes and was also a member of the PTA and American Legion Auxiliary.

Virginia loved her children and grandchildren devoting her time by being a part of their activities throughout their lives. She was a people person who was caring, loving and always willing to help those in need and will forever be remembered for her generosity and kindness.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Manley, daughters, Barbi (Rafael ) Escarcega, Debbie Johnston, step children Jim Manley and Christine Randall, sister, Velen Troglia (Ed) Lima, sister-in-law, Lucy Troglia. Grandchildren Joey Grajeda, Celeste Escarcega, Celena Galaz, Regina Johnston- Germain, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Rafaela Troglia, brother, Pete Troglia, sister, Ellen Lopez and nephew, Marty Lima and her first husband Joe House, father of Barbi and Debbie.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the First Baptist Church located on 10th Street and E. Avenue in Douglas, AZ at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Society.

A celebration of Virginia’s life will be announced at a later date.
