Francisco “Pancho” De La Cruz Francisco “Pancho” De La Cruz of Elfrida, AZ passed away on March 7, 2012. Pancho was born on May 19, 1966 to Guadalupe and Petra De La Cruz in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and granddaughter Raegan Marie De La Cruz. Surviving Pancho is his loving wife Wendy of 28 and half years of marriage. Also surviving are his parents, son Samuel De La Cruz, daughters Savanah (Carlos) Tapia, Francisca De LA Cruz (Rafael Tapia), brother Guadalupe (Jackie) De La Cruz, and sisters Alma (Aaron) Garcia, and Reyna De La Cruz. He leaves behind his grandchildren Adrian, Jazmin, Andrew and Jaileen. Pancho was a local businessman who enjoyed his hot rods, racing and most of all his family. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Rosary for Pancho was held on Friday, March 9, 2012-7:00 pm at St. Frances of Assisi in Elfrida, AZ with Fr. Arnold Noriega. Mass of the Resurrection was held at the Valley Union High school gym on Saturday, March 10, 2012-10:00 am with Fr. Jose Manuel Padilla. Burial followed at White Water Cemetery in Elfrida, AZ. Pallbearers were Carlos Tapia, Rafael Peralta, Tony Gomez, Johnny De La Cruz, Ernie De La Cruz and Devon Brock. Honorary pallbearers were Samuel De La Cruz, Guadalupe De LA Cruz, Trent Noble and Andy De La Cruz. Care entrusted to Alex Espinosa Douglas Funeral Home, 1860-8th Street, Douglas, AZ 85607.
