If you are considering college after graduation or preparing for the workforce, you will want to attend Meet Your Major from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 28 at the Cochise College Douglas campus.

The event provides an opportunity to learn about the more than 100 programs available at Cochise College. For those planning on transferring on to a university, 11 university representatives will be available.

For attendees interested in exploring a career with Homeland Security or criminal justice, representatives from U.S. Border Patrol, Customs and Border Protection, Department of Corrections, Douglas Police Department, Douglas Fire Department, Adult Probation, and many more will be on hand to answer questions.

The Meet Your Major event coincides with the Aviation Career Open House.

The public is invited to stop by campus to not only learn about careers in aviation, but also get a hands-on experience by taking a spin in the flight simulator, exploring the fleet of aircrafts and meeting pilots.

To dig in even further, the aviation department is offering a special rate of $64 for a half-hour introductory flight. Just ask about it when you RSVP at 417-4114 by March 15.

The Douglas campus is located at 4190 West Highway 80. Call 417-4044 or 417-4750 for more information about Meet Your Major.
