Josefina V. Sierra passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 in Tucson, Arizona. Josefina was born on September 18, 1951 in Douglas, Arizona to Manuel R. and Ernestina Vasquez Sierra. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Tony and Raul Sierra. Josefina is survived by her siblings, Frank (Bertha) Sierra, Hector (Lupe) Sierra, Julie (Johnny) Montelongo, Alice Gulliver, Carmen Sierra, and Loly Arvizu. Josefina also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. A Rosary for Josefina was recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the Brown Page Mortuary Chapel. A Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the St. Luke’s Catholic Church with Father Gilbert Malu officiating. Burial followed at Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers who served were Frank Sierra, Hector Sierra, Javier Sierra, Roland Sierra, Manuel Hernandez and Victor Gulliver, Johnny Montelongo, and Johnny Montelongo, Jr.
