Carol Mary Rice died peacefully in her sleep at Chandler, Ariz. on Thursday, April 5 at the age of 91. She was born in Douglas, Ariz. on February 9, 1921 and lived many years in Morenci, Ariz. and Clifton, Ariz. before relocating to Chandler.


She is survived by one sister, Ann Prather, and four children, Marshall, Richard, Dianne and Randy. She also had six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was the daughter of Sara Arizona Dugan and Frank Krentz of the Krentz Ranch north east of Douglas, AZ.

A memorial service will be held for friends and family at a later date and the family requests that any memorial donations be made to the Arizona Humane Society.
