Both the Douglas Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs are headed back to the state playoffs.

The Lady Bulldogs landed the No. 23 seed in the 24 team tournament and will face No. 10 seed Scottsdale Notre Dame Saturday at 11 A.M. in Scottsdale in the first round of the state playoffs. The winner of this game heads to Tucson May 1 to play Sabino.

The Bulldogs landed the No. 4 seed and as a result of that high seed have a first round bye.

Douglas will host the winner of the Gila Ridge vs. Seton Catholic game Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Douglas High School.

Because this is a state playoff game the AIA will be charging admission fees of $8 for adults, $6 for students.

Should the Bulldogs win Tuesday they will play Thursday in Phoenix against the winner of the Ironwood Ridge vs. Sahuaro winner vs. Liberty game which will also take place on Tuesday.
