" Lots of sneaky undercover things going on at DUSD.Yet most are afraid to speak up. Almost unbelievably plain in the eyes of most.I am watching now from afar and worried about the students.Does anyone really care about the older staff with natural intelligence or the support staff that are star students from the school of hard knocks? Main office and school board (wow) I am speechless. Is it power and control or respect and trust. If it is power and control, history will rear its ugly head. "

" I agree With Ellsworth Rocks. He is a great coach. He is retiring either way. We just congratulating him ahead of time and telling him how we all will miss him and make the article big by the time May 2013 comes. "

" It says effective MAY 2012/2013 (Today is May 2012, it could have been an honest mistake) Thanks for your 2-cents, Everyone loves a 2-cent person telling everyone their opinion I suppose.... "

" Ellsworth Rocks...You need to READ the article before you write. Ellsworth's retirement is not effective until the end of May 2012/2013 which means NEXT MAY. I think its a safe bet the Dispatch will do a story on him when the time comes. Think before you write. "

" Good luck to Walker on his new position. In my book if you can guide DHS to success like Bonnie Lopez you're on the right track. I think you'll do a fine job. "

" Principles? lol...this article should have been about Mr Ellsworth's retirement. He deserves a full-article on his retirement. His impact on the community/children has been amazing and legit since I was a young child.

The city of Douglas would not be the same without him. He's a great role model and I am glad I was privileged to know him and work with him, coached by him and humored by him.

Congrats on your retirement Mr. Ellsworth, you are a great teacher and an even greater person! "

I have been blessed to have worked with Ron and found him to be one of the true and consistent professionals day in and day out. It is obvious he cares about the kids in a profound way. "
