Maria “Ceci” ““Shiviri” Cecilia Moreno passed away on April 26, 2012 in Tucson, AZ.

Cecilia was born on November 21, 1945 in Agua Prieta to Manuel Gonzales and Maria Luisa Borbon. Preceding her in death are parents and siblings Nely, Antonio and Miguel.

She is survived by her husband Fred Moreno of 49 years of marriage. Also surviving are sons Freddie (Kathy) Moreno, Eddie (Elsa) Moreno, daughters Maria (Raymond) Scott and Virginia (Serge) Batista. She leaves behind her siblings Eduardo Gonzalez, Victor Gonzales, Fermin Gonzales and Sylvia Adame.

She will be missed by her grandchildren Ramon “Moe”, Crystal, Christopher, Michael, Mathew, Chaliss, Nathaniel, Serina, Jazlyn, Gilbert, Mia, Memphis Ray and all who knew and loved her. Her passion in life was her family and loved to welcome everyone into her home and would make people feel like they were more than welcome.

Rosary for Ceci will be Saturday, May 5, 2012-10:15 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Mass of the Resurrection, with Fr. Jesus Perez will follow the rosary at 10:45 a.m.

A reception will follow at the Lions Club on Ninth Street.

Care entrusted to Alex Espinosa Funeral Homes, 364-2121, Alex Espinosa, Funeral Director.

    " Such a great friend and neighbor to my family for many many years, I would spend my evenings sitting with Ceci on her front porch while she tended to her plants in her yard. Such a beautiful friend. She is greatly missed. "
