The exhibit began March 28 and will be available to the public until the closing reception, which will take place on April 28.

Ceramics instructor for the College, Ian Carbajal gathered various work from friends in the art department at the college with the intent to involve the majority of the sections that Cochise College offers as part of the Art program.

“This exhibition is orchestrated with work that is still in development,” Carbajal said. “Some are experiencing new techniques in search of unique surface decorations, others are merely practicing putting these experiences of new ideas into their work, and there are some that are simply finished beautifully.”

Part of the list of artists presenting their work includes Sandaya Dove Song, Jason Smith, David Altamirano, Barry Mcinerney, David Morales, Ian Carbajal, Tate Rich, Randy Fox, Mike Garino, Margo Macartney, Daina Dorner, Emi Depreist, Chris Austine, Bj Hayostek, Patty Countrymen, Giovanna Guerrero and Dave Trarulo.

The Douglas Art Gallery is located at 625 10th St. and is open from Tuesday-Saturday, from 10-1 p.m. For more information about the Gallery or the exhibit people is encouraged to call (520) 364-6410.
