" Lopez/Gomez and all who signed the recall petition should share the cost and pay back the city. I bet the bill is over $10,000! "

" 1. Ward 4 for Lindermann needs to check his spelling/word usage also. I'm not sure how one is sent on a "marry way"!
    2. Mr. Lopez needs to pay for this recall election. The city of Douglas cannot afford this election! "

" Seems all the candidates Mayor Gomez supported have lost. That is a clear message that he has no support after a terrible term as mayor. He accomplished nothing! Now the city can get back to business. Work on improving G Avenue, open the commercial port of entry, bring jobs and business to Douglas and provide activities for our youth. Let's get back to our roots and make Douglas a place that people want to return to visit and spend their money! Danny Ortega can bring back respect and productivity and even though there are differences of opinion, they can be discussed in a non combative manner! "

" Well, I guess the candidate that the people WANT as councilman has won, thus the voting process. Now that Mr. Lindemann has officially won, Mr. Lopez can congratulate him as the winner and move on. All is fair in voting, and the people of Ward 2 have spoken. "

" Thank goodness Mr. Lindemann won! Congratulations Mitch! People have finally realized that Lopez is the biggest joke in town and can send him on his marry way. Thanks Richard, we'll keep Lindemann on the Council and you can keep your 'honest governmAnt'. How 'bout learning to spell first!?! "
