Swim lessons registration underway

Registration for swimming lessons at the Douglas Aquatic Center is currently underway.

The American Red Cross is offering six different levels of lessons and four different sessions.

There is the pre-school level which is aquatic orientation for 4 year olds; aquatic independence for 5 year olds; learn to swim level one introduction to water skills for six year olds and three more learn to swim levels.

There will be four classes per day for each of the four sessions. The first session will run June 4-13; the second June 18-27; the third July 2-12 and the fourth July 16-25.

Class times are 10-10:45 a.m.; 11-11:45 a.m.; 5-5:45 p.m. and 6-6:45 p.m.

Classes are $30 per session. Anyone wanting more information may call the Douglas Aquatic Center at 417-7346.
