LAWRENCE W. “LARRY” PARRA was born in Deming, on August 10, 1935 to Jim and Isabel Wood Parra. Larry as he was fondly known to family and friends passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 17, 2012, surrounded by his loved ones. He was a strong, vibrant and loving man, who lived life fully. He is now in the loving arms of his Heavenly Father.



Those left to mourn his passing include his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Sally U. Parra: Children, Priscilla Owen Tyler, Richard Parra (Marlane), Tina Parra Velasquez (Ruben), Nancee Krieger (Ken) Donica Girot and Melissa Parra (Brett) Other survivors include fourteen, special grandchildren, Martin, Bree, Joshua, Noelle, Coree, Matthew, Garrett, Croix, Tessa, Hanna, Dylan, Dante, Lacy, and Taylor and most recently a great grandson Matix; three brothers, Jimmy, Henry and Gilbert Parra and a sister, Carrie Muela. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Jody Parra.

At Larry’s request, no services are scheduled at this time. The family appreciates all the support and kindness during this most difficult time.
