JoAnne Krieser, 65, went to our Lord on 10 May 2012, with her three children by her side in Tucson, Arizona.

JoAnne was born 20 February 1947 in Knox County, Indiana to Raymond and Nancy Howell. She moved to Bisbee, Arizona as a teenager and graduated from Bisbee High School in 1965.

Joanne was a proud member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary and she was passionate about supporting our men and women in uniform. JoAnne was also proud to have worked as a disc jockey (JoAnne Rogers) at KZMK in Bisbee, Arizona and KDAP in Douglas, Arizona.

She is survived by her three children, Dawn Hyatt of Tucson, Arizona; Chris Krieser of El Paso, Texas; Valerie Krieser of Tucson, Arizona; her six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her Aunt, Alice Boteler of Bisbee, Arizona and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Raymond and Nancy Howell, and her Brother Floyd (Bud) Howell.

JoAnne touched the hearts of all who knew her with her wit and positive outlook. Her children were truly blessed to have such a loving and caring Mother. She was an angel on earth that will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson, Arizona for their kindness and humanity during this very difficult time.

A memorial service will be held by her family at the Evergreen Cemetery in Bisbee, Arizona.
