Area Firefighters battle structure fire
Crews from the Douglas Fire Department responded with two trucks and a half dozen firefighters to a structure fire shortly before noon Monday, in the 2300 block of Rogers Ave. The fire was reported by a nearby neighbor, the structure was full of bees, which were spayed with foam killing them. It was contained within a matter of minutes. Both CCSO and DPD where at the scene to assist. The cause of fire is unknown and remains under investigation.

SIERRA VISTA— Draped in black caps and gowns, the hundreds of Cochise College students who stepped up to receive their diplomas on Friday night were nearly indistinguishable from one another, except for their footwear, which was as diverse as the journeys that brought them each to that stage.
Luna gets acceptance from Berklee College of Music
