More events at the Douglas Mercado

Dear Editor: I visited the Douglas Mercado at Castro Park on 10th Street on Sunday, May 20th. It was filled with many people who turned out to join in the exciting activities. There were plenty of things of to do, such as shopping for locally grown produce, bouncing in a jumping castle, watching Zumba dancers, listening to live music, or learning about the importance of staying and eating healthy.
