Area Firefighters battle structure fire
Crews from the Douglas Fire Department responded with two trucks and a half dozen firefighters to a structure fire shortly before noon Monday, in the 2300 block of Rogers Ave. The fire was reported by a nearby neighbor, the structure was full of bees, which were spayed with foam killing them. It was contained within a matter of minutes. Both CCSO and DPD where at the scene to assist. The cause of fire is unknown and remains under investigation.
