The summer children’s event was hosted at the First Presbyterian Church on 10th and D Ave. each morning from 8 to noon June 18-22. Breakfast was served to all participants from 8-9 a.m. at no charge.

Child from as young as 8 months to 13 years old were welcomed to lean more about the teachings of God.

Each day started with the story of day which would introduce the theme of the day from there the children would move on to crafts, snack time, out door recreation, and music.

This is the first year both churches have come together, Diana Moreland, Director of Christian Ed. at St. Stephens, said.

We had a good turnout, she added.

Saint Stephens and First Presbyterian Churches will have their Vacation Bible School again next summer.
