Bobbie Maxine Lehman of Elfrida passed away on June 13, 2012.



She was born on June 22, 1930 in Electra, Texas to Chester Melvin and Dora Ella (Frazier) Combs. During the late 30’s, Bobbie traveled with her family between Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona while working on farms picking strawberries, watermelon and cotton to support the family. In Tucson, Arizona she met her future husband, Earl Dean Lehman, who traveled back with her family to Texas and married her on December 9, 1944.

Survivors include her children: Dora Snyder of Tucson, AZ, Rick Lehman and Dean (Tanya) Lehman of Sierra Vista, AZ, Dana (Melba) Lehman of Hereford, AZ and Angel (Gary) Lauve of Willcox, AZ. She is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband of nearly fifty years, Earl Dean Lehman, Son Deanie Lamont and Granddaughter Mary Raylene Snyder. Also preceding were all seven of her siblings: brothers, Chester Glen, Elmer and Bob Combs, half-brother Wyatt Riley Cary; sisters Doris George-Long and Juanita Olson.

Graveside services will be held at the Whitewater Cemetery in Elfrida, Arizona on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.

Services entrusted to Brown Page Mortuary in Douglas, 364-3434.
