DUSD Board to hold public hearing on budget

The Douglas School Board of Education changed its July 3 meeting to Monday July 9 at 5 p.m. in the board room of the DUSD main office on 12th Street.


At the meeting there will be a public hearing on the fiscal year 2012/13 District Annual Expenditure Budget. Members of the public will be able to ask questions regarding the budget at that time.

Following the public hearing the board will then look at adopting the budget.

There will also some discussion and possible action on nonresident tuition for high school students living outside of Arizona but inside the United States and for high achool students living outside of the United States borders.

Several hires and resignations will also take place at the meeting and there will be a work study session for review and study of governing board policies as proposed by the Arizona School Boards Association.

Monday’s meeting is open to the public.
