Local soccer league to host camp

The Douglas Youth Soccer League is once again bringing an international soccer event to the Douglas area.


A soccer camp, open to anyone between the ages of 4-16, will be taking place July 16-20 at the Airport Park from 9 A.M. to 12 noon each day.

The soccer camps are conducted by UK International Soccer Camps who hail predominantly from the United Kingdom, Europe and South America, according to local event organizer Frank Montoya.

“Every instructor is a professional minor league soccer player from the UK,” Montoya said.

Combining their international passion for soccer and cultural perspective, along with our specialized AYSO training creates a very unique and dynamic camp program, which goes far beyond the soccer field.

All players within the allotted ages are welcome to attend the week long program.

Cost is $80 per kid.
