Grady (Bud) James Woodward

Mr. Grady J. Woodward passed away following a long battle with cancer at his home in Garden Grove, CA on July 7, 2012.



He was born in Ft. Sumner, NM, September 30,1939. He was a graduate of Douglas High School, Douglas AZ and a graduate of the University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed with the USEUR Division in Heidelberg, Germany. He was employed by the IRS early in his career and went into private practice until the time of his death. He has been a long time resident of Orange County.

Grady is preceded in death by his parents Grady James Woodward Sr. and Mary Pearl Penland Woodward. He is survived by two sisters Leeta Ellis, Green Valley, AZ, Penny and one brother-in-law Rennie Moultrie of Brooks, GA. He is also survived by 3 nephews, and one niece, five grand nieces, and 6 grand nephews. He was of the Southern Baptist faith and was very devoted to and loved by his family and friends.

A brief Celebration of his life has been scheduled for Grady (Bud) Woodward on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at 2:15 P.M. at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA.
