“We wanted to give the customers of Douglas somewhere they could come in and enjoy a football game baseball game and any type of playoff game”, Jose Hernandez, General Manager, said.

Beer and wine are served and anticipate expanding their drink selection in the future. They have a Happy Hour Monday – Friday from 5-8 p.m.

On Mondays and Tuesdays they will have half priced appetizers, Wednesdays will be half off all hamburgers, Thursdays half off all sandwiches and Fridays will be ladies nights with $1 off all beer and wine.

“We have had good feedback,” said Hernandez, with about 30 to 40 percent of revenue coming in from the bar, he added.

Their plans for the near future will be to offer pay preview events at no charge to the public.

Hernandez said, customers are welcomed to bring in their sports team and or college team pennants and memorabilia to hang on the walls.

“Howard Henderson already added his Nebraska Huskers to the wall,” Hernandez said.
